The world is full of unique places and amazing adventures. Here are 10 once in a life time experiences to add to your bucket list.

1. See the giant sequoia trees in Yosemite National Park

There are many natural wonders in Yosemite National Park. One the must sees is the grove of over 500 giant sequoia trees which tower above the forest floor. The largest tree is called the Grizzly Giant and is about 63metres tall and nearly 3,000 years old.

2. Visit the worlds largest cave Vietnam

Son Doong Cave is the largest cave in the world. In some parts it is large enough to fit a sky scrappers. Tours are available to explore and camping in the cave making this an experience unavailable anywhere else in the world.

3. Admire the Northern Lights from an igloo

It doesn’t get much more unique that staying in a private glass igloo watching the sky dance with colour. Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is located in Finnish Lapland and offers this experience during the Northern Lights season from the end of August to April.

4. Hike to Everest Base Camp

Everyone knows Mt Everest is the tallest peak in the world. Only a handful of people are able to reach the summit but reaching base camp is a slightly more achievable goal (this doesn’t mean it’s easy). The trek takes about 12 days through the beautiful country of Nepal.

5. Snorkel in Bora Bora

Bora Bora in French Polynesia is commonly referred to as one of the most beautiful places in the world. The crystal clear waters make it the prefect spot to snorkel and marvel at the marine life.

6. See the hot air balloons in Turkey

Everyone has seen the photos of the hot air balloons filling the sky. If you want to experience the view for your head to Cappadocia in Turkey. The ballon tour take place between January and September with over 400,000 people taking to the skies each year.

7. Trek to Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is located in the Eastern Cordillera of southern Peru. It can be reached via the standard Inca Trail which take 4-5 days or if you’re short on time you can take the train.

8. Watch the sunrise and sunset at Uluru

Uluru is sacred to indigenous Australians and is estimated to be around 550 million years old. It’s world famous for it’s amazing sunrises and sunsets but remember it more than just a photo opt location. Make sure you take the time to learn about and appreciate the culture and history of the site.

9. Enjoy the interactive art at TeamLab Borderless Tokyo

TeamLab Borderless is an immersive museum in Tokyo. The museum is filled with interactive exhibits that will make you look at art and the world in a whole new way.

10. Dine with Giraffe’s in Kenya

I love a unique dining experience and it doesn’t get much more unique than having a meal with giraffe’s coming to say hi. This experience is available at Giraffe Manor in Kenya. The Manor’s primary purpose is to breed the giraffes and reintroduce them to the wild. This does mean that their is no guarantee of an interaction but it does mean that if you get one it’s ethical and not forced.
